Choose the Lord, Lady or couple package and a square metre of our Scottish woodland at Upper Hindhope is set aside for the recipient — a named entry in the House register of dedications, tied to a real place of moss, pine and weather.

Name the newly proclaimed Lord and Lady

Type the name exactly as it should appear and add a dedication line if you have something to say. You will see the certificate take shape as you type, the honorific title set in gold and ivory.

The Honour Arrives

The certificate arrives by email within the hour, ready to print, frame, or produce triumphantly at dinner. The Excellence Package — the same certificate on heavy stock, in its Nobility packaging — is posted to you within 3 to 5 working days.

From “add to cart” to “rise, my Lord” in three steps.

I. Name the recipient

Choose the Lord, Lady, or couple package and type the recipient’s name exactly as it should appear. You will see the certificate take shape as you type — long names shrink gracefully; no one gets clipped. Add a dedication line if you have something to say. Most people do.

II. We prepare the certificate

Their honorific title is set in gold and ivory, and a square metre of our Scottish woodland is dedicated in their name — a named entry in the Lord Title register of dedications, tied to a real place of moss, pine and weather. The dedication is a symbolic gesture. The woodland, and our contribution to keeping it standing, are real.

III. The honour arrives

The certificate arrives by email within 24 hours, ready to print, frame, or produce triumphantly at dinner. If you chose the Excellence Package, the certificate on heavy stock follows by post, in its Nobility packaging, within 3 working days.

Where the woodland is

Upper Hindhope sits in the Cheviot Hills, in the Scottish Borders. The outline below is the ground the House keeps its register against, held under an agreement with the farmer who works it. Every certificate prints a coordinate inside this boundary — the plot the dedication is recorded at — so you can find it on a map, or walk up to it.
